I could not have been happier with my recent order of two varieties of dwarf camellia. The plants arrive well packaged and in superb condition! One of the varieties I ordered was not available due to not meeting their standards. I cant speak on the blooms because i just received my plant but I do want to say I’m so impressed by the way the plants are shipped. They are really large and healthy, healthy plants. I cant go to lowes and get plants taken care of this well. This is my most definate go to nursery for all my Perennials. We ordered the camellias and didn’t wait long for their arrival. They were well packaged to prevent damage. They were fresh, in beautiful condition and appear to be very healthy. A few days after planting we had a few brown leaves on each plant. We took picture and sent them to Wilson Brothers. They were responsive and agreed with us that it was most likely sun scald but if anything changed to let them know. We snipped these leaves off, with no serious consequences to the plants and so far all is good. Quick, excellent quality and responsive. I purchased the 3 gallon size of this camellia. It arrived very quickly. It was a gorgeous plant. The shipping container was awesome. There was no way this plant could have been damaged in shipping. I have not yet planted it into the ground, but it was full of buds and is blooming beautifully. The plants were packaged in very sturdy boxes where they were well protected in transit. Now that they have been planted a few weeks the plants look as though they never knew that they were moved from their original homes. They are happy and healthy. Unable to find a dwarf camellia locally, I ordered this plant from Wilson Bros online with some hesitation due to prior experiences with mail order plants from other vendors. I was especially curious how the plant would be shipped given its relatively large (3 gal) size. I could not have been more pleased with the result. The camellia itself is gorgeous and is in perfect shape. In fact better than anything I have seen in local nurseries. And the shipping container was perfect, protecting the plant in a unique package. The Camellia arrived healthy and is doing well after planting. Unfortunately, while it was reasonably well packed, in transit one of the branches broke off. I buy plants online quite a bit and it would be helpful to have a “This side up” notice on the outside of the box. ————– WBG RESPONSE: Hi Georgina – Thanks for providing us with your review. Glad to hear that the Camellia is planted and doing well. Not so glad to hear one of the branches broke off due to there being no arrows on the box. It is standard protocol for our packaging staff to put arrows on every box. Sounds like they missed this doing it on this box.
